Can you unlock Nintendo Wii consoles now without too much trouble? Yes is the simple answer. Not long after the Nintendo Wii consoles were launched somebody invented a way of unlocking the Wii consoles by using a certain type of hardware. This involved buying a special chip that you had to insert into the circuit board of your Wii. By inserting this chip it meant that you have to open up your console which opens up a risk of damaging your Wi and also invalidating your warranrty. You can now unlock Wii consoles with none of this hardware, but by software alone and this comes in the form of “Homebrew Installer”!
